Photography is my passion. In nearly two decades of seeing world through the eyes of different people, I discovered that the true essence of India is in its rural and semi-urban counterparts. Thus, my interest in those area grew consistently. I intend to bring out the uniqueness of India on the global platform. On one side, India is urbanizing at the rate faster than ever and on the other side, the culture that we have had for centuries is being forgotten. I have travelled to villages in West Bengal and have tried to capture their way of living which truly represents the country.
The intention of mine is to bring the subject matter in limelight so that it can aid the needy people in the less privileged regions. The effort has been fruitful and few like-minded folks have joined me in this journey. If this effort of ours can make a positive impact on even a single family, we will be truly honoured.
I am optimistic on the stand and I am sure more people would be interested in this endeavour in times ahead. I would thus like to showcase some of my work through the medium of your website.
